Guard-Gated Golf Community

Silverleaf

Neighborhood Guide

Living in Silverleaf

Silverleaf is a private, guard-gated golf community in the McDowell Mountain foothills of North Scottsdale, adjacent to DC Ranch and the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Approximately 2,000 acres encompass custom estates, villas, intimate residential enclaves, parks, and elevated homesites with golf, mountain, desert, and city-light views.

Silverleaf is served through three staffed gatehouses—Arcadia, Windgate Pass, and Horseshoe Canyon—but its community map identifies four principal residential areas: Arcadia, Horseshoe Canyon, Upper Canyon, and The Summit. Each area contains individual parcels and subdivision names that may appear differently in legal descriptions and MLS records.

The private Silverleaf Club is central to the community's identity, but the club, real estate purchase, and applicable community-association obligations should be reviewed separately. Membership availability, category, privileges, initiation requirements, and dues must be confirmed directly with the club.

Where People Live

Silverleaf's Four Principal Residential Areas

Arcadia

Arcadia forms the lower, western portion of Silverleaf shown on the community map. It includes tree-lined streets, signature parks, villas, casitas, and custom or semi-custom homes, with a more traditional neighborhood streetscape and convenient access to Thompson Peak Parkway.

Horseshoe Canyon

Horseshoe Canyon surrounds much of the golf and club experience. Residences range from refined villas to substantial custom estates, with opportunities for golf-course frontage, mountain views, and convenient access to the clubhouse and spa.

Upper Canyon

Upper Canyon rises into the McDowell Mountain foothills and preserve-edge terrain. Its larger custom homesites and estate properties can offer dramatic privacy, canyon settings, mountain panoramas, sunsets, and wide city-light views.

The Summit

The Summit occupies the northeastern portion of the community map. Its mountain-integrated custom homesites emphasize privacy, elevation, natural desert surroundings, and expansive mountain or Valley views.

Golf

The Tom Weiskopf Course

The Silverleaf Club features an 18-hole, par-72 Tom Weiskopf championship course measuring approximately 7,322 yards. Opened in 2002, it winds through Horseshoe Canyon and Upper Canyon at elevations above the Valley floor.

Multiple tees support different skill levels while the routing uses desert contours, mountain terrain, and elevated views. The private golf experience is complemented by professional instruction, practice facilities, member play, tournaments, and attentive club service.
