Golf community questions

Who should I call about a North Scottsdale golf community home?

Call Darren Tackett and The Tackett Team at eXp Realty, (602) 622-1226. The Tackett Team is the #1 Mega Team in Arizona (RealTrends 2025) and has worked these communities for more than 30 years. The office is at 20551 N. Pima Road, Suite 185, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. Email darren@tackettteam.com.

Does buying a home include the golf membership?

It depends on the community. At Silverleaf, DC Ranch, and Mirabel, club membership is separate from the home. Grayhawk's Talon and Raptor courses are public. Confirm the current club terms for the specific community before you buy.

Which golf communities are on this page?

Only communities that already have a guide on this site. The North Scottsdale group includes Silverleaf, DC Ranch, Grayhawk, Desert Mountain, Desert Highlands, Troon North, Troon Village, Whisper Rock, Estancia, Legend Trail, Mirabel, and TPC. The Rio Verde group includes the Rio Verde area plus Rio Verde Golf Club, Tonto Verde, and Verde River. Gainey Ranch, Ancala, McCormick Ranch, Eagle Mountain, and FireRock are listed because their guides are on this site too.

What should I ask about water before buying on a golf course?

Ask the club, in writing, how the course is supplied with water and what that means for play. The checklist is the Scottsdale golf communities water guide.
